London – The Gherkin and The City

Returning from a short hiatus again. Moving from Edinburgh was one of the hardest things I’ve experienced, so there is some solace in London being the destination, one of the world’s most exciting cities.

This is from a short outing into The City, in an effort to photograph an interesting juxtaposition: the upper reaches of the modern wealthy elite with the humble 15th-century church whose congregation dates back to the year 1210. Both beautiful structures occupy the same block in this amazing Square Mile.
