London – Skyline from Beckton Alps

Meh. Gone out to this location for a fabulous view, an hour journey each way. In fact this is the farthest out I’ve gone in London for a photo, so unfortunately I’m a bit underwhelmed with the result. Compounded by the fact that it was severely cloudy and I don’t love making panoramas – I could have included the red streaks of the Emirates Airline, the lit up O2, the BT Tower, and the huge traffic of the A13, but I couldn’t enjoy the composition any more narrow than this.

Anyway, I’m grateful for the Flickr community. It’s so very nice when inside information gets shared so liberally and generously.
