On the penultimate evening of Metrobus on the 409, 6730 (GN07 AUY) is seen back in TfL land at Selsdon Sainsbury’s (/Selsdon Library).

As can be seen – I finally got round to getting a 409 shot here!

On this day, the entire PVR of the service was made up with ex-TfL route 465 Enviros, so when I first missed a shot of one at Upper Warlingham station, I needn’t have worried!

As part of Surrey CC’s latest transport review, route 409 was taken over by Southdown PSV from 3rd September, reduced to hourly. It was also extended to East Grinstead – although only every two hours south of South Godstone.

Route 357 is extended from Warlingham to Selsdon to maintain x30 minutes on Monday-Friday.
