During the 1990s, The Londoners settled on the Dennis Javelin chassis and the Berkhof Excellence coachwork for their new arrivals. They mainly operated on London tour work, as their name suggests, for incoming tourists. This Javelin, new in 03/1996, is seen here leaving a hot and busy Windsor Coach Park, on 05/08/1998. Following on from my previous photo of the Marshalls Scania, this is another Berkhof Excellence body that had recently been added a telescopic TV aerial, this one in a slightly different position! Part of Windsor Castle, Queen Elizabeth II’s residence, can be seen in the distance.
The camera being a Praktica MTL3 with the film being a Boots Colourslide II.
I would request, as with all my photos, that they are not copied or downloaded in any way, shape or form. © Peter Steel 1998.
