Illustration by John Griffiths in Motif 3, an art journal published in September, 1959.
Printed in solid colours, rather than four-colour process. The article, "A Front Of Shops", illustrates shop fronts in London and Brighton, some in full colour, some in two colours, some in black and white, all of them amazing!
Most Londoners will know this shop – still there 53 years after this was published.
