China race: Severe weather kills cross-country runners

At least 21 individuals have died as excessive weather struck a cross-country mountain race in north-western China.

On Saturday excessive winds and freezing rain hit members within the 100km (60-mile) race within the Yellow River Stone Forest, a vacationer website in Gansu province, state-run media reported.
