Warren Stephens to be nominated as U.S. Ambassador to United Kingdom

On December 2, President-elect Donald Trump revealed his decision to nominate⁤ Warren Stephens, the chairperson, president, and CEO of Stephens Inc., based in Little Rock, as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Stephens Inc. operates as a privately owned financial services enterprise with its headquarters in ‍Little Rock and⁣ boasts 28 offices globally. The firm employs over 1,200 individuals and has‌ significant‌ presences in major financial‍ hubs such as London and Frankfurt.

In a message shared on his Truth Social platform, Trump remarked:

“I am excited to announce that Warren A.⁣ Stephens, one of‍ our nation’s ​most ‌accomplished business leaders, has been selected to represent us as the U.S. Ambassador to ​the Court of ⁣St. James’s—an esteemed role ​where ​he will​ be our representative in the United Kingdom. Over nearly four decades as President, Chairman, and CEO ⁤of Stephens Inc., Warren has developed an exceptional financial services company while generously contributing ⁢to his community through philanthropy.”

“Warren’s aspiration has always been to serve our country at⁢ this level full-time. It excites me that he will now ⁤realize this ambition by becoming our chief diplomat for one of America’s valued allies,” added Trump.

“Congratulations are in order for Warren along ‍with his wife Harriet and their three children: Miles, John, and Laura—as‌ well as their six grandchildren!”
